Hand Carding 101 with Denise

Beginner - no prior skills needed

Bring with you or purchase at the shop

• Hand carders (none are necessary, Extra Yarn will have carders for in-shop use)
• 1 or 2 oz fiber for carding (available for purchase $6-$12)
• Drop spindle or spinning wheel if you would like to try spinning your carded fiber

Techniques covered
In this class, you will learn the basics of carding, including:

• Different fibers and how to prepare them
• What are hand carders
• Charging the carder
• Carding your fiber making a rolag

Cancellation Policy
To cancel a lesson, please email us. To receive a full refund, the lesson must be cancelled 5 days before the lesson start time. We cannot offer any refunds after that time. 

Reschedule Policy
To reschedule a lesson, please email us. Lessons need to be rescheduled at least 48 hours before lesson start time, otherwise they will be considered cancelled. A lesson can only be rescheduled twice before it is cancelled.

No Show Policy
We will not offer any refunds for missed lessons.
